Summary:

Univision is looking for someone who can use statistical tools and programming languages to analyze its digital data and tell a story with it: Interpret the data, gain insights, make recommendations to optimize existing and non-existent stories to amplify their reach across all platforms, and communicate that in a clear and concise way, work with Editorial, Product and Data Engineering on identifying strategies to improve user experience and work with Revenue driving teams to identify opportunities to drive revenue.

 

Responsibilities:

 *   Wrangle data from multiple sources including customer databases, ad servers, analytics packages, 3rd party services, and internal sources to create integrated dashboards and insights that can be used to drive decision making
  *   Help to plan and implement the overall digital analytics, insights and business strategy for Univision Interactive
  *   Discover new opportunities to optimize all Digital Univision products through analytics and statistical modeling
  *   Oversee multiple analysts to create and distribute automated dashboard
  *   Aid in the creation of detailed analytics requirements and specs for new initiatives and site/product launches
  *   Develop tracking and data collection strategy to support business objectives
  *   Monitor and measure launched products and feed learnings back into product development process

 

Qualifications:

 *   Spanish speaking preferred
  *   3+ years performing quantitative analysis 
  *   Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Crimson Hexagon, Crowtangle, Sysomos, Tableau 

 

  • Identify key data that’s important to track, and access it through tools and APIs available, and ultimately develop real-time dashboards
  • Query & analyze aggregate data: SQL, excel & pivot table mastery
  • Data visualization & predictive modeling: Matlab/Tableau/R/Python
  • A/B testing & optimization planning a plus

 

  *   Ability to think critically, analytically, and anticipate stakeholder needs
  *   Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
